LILIT KOCHARYAN CHAIRWOMAN
Lilit graduated from the Yerevan State University of Economics’ Industrial Engineering Faculty in 2004 earning a diploma of mathematician-economist with honors and moved to continue graduate studies in Berlin. In 2008 Lilit obtained her M.Sc. in Economics and Management at Humboldt University in Berlin then wored in private sector till 2019. In 2019 she became a solo-entrepreneur in IT outsourcing consulting.
In 2014 Lilit founded the Relief Bridge Foundation in Vanadzor, Armenia and co-founded the Kamurdsch-Brücke e.V. Association in Berlin, Germany. Both organizations have the mission of reducing financial barriers for patients from Armenia with chronic or life-threatening diseases and providing medical equipment to hospitals in Armenia. Since founding she is actively engaged in the board and is the driving force of the organization. 2014-2016 Lilit served as the president of SOAR-German e.V. that provides humanitarian aid to orphaned Armenians and to Armenian orphanages. Since August, 2018-2021 she has served in the board of Society without Violence NGO, based in Yerevan. In 2018 and 2022 Lilit was re-elected as the Chairwoman of Kamurdsch-Brücke e.V. board.
MARIA GHIRONI MEMBER
Maria grew up in Tuscany, Italy, and graduated from the University of Siena in Geotechnologies. For her final Diploma, she spent some time in Kongwa, Tanzania, working as field geologist to support the Kongwa Dam project, aimed to built a water pond for agriculture and livestock to support the local population. Here she got in touch and supported the activities of the local nursery and primary school. Back in Italy, she worked in raising funds for building the dam and gained experience in fund raising and international cooperation. In 2009, she moved to Germany to work in the Satellite industry and then as Product Manager. Maria has an Armenian partner and, therefore, part of her family lives in Armenia.
ASTGHIK SAHAKYAN MEMBER
Astghik has completed her Bachelor's degree in Economics in Armenia. After her studies she worked in the booming Armenien IT sector as a Project Manager for three years. In 2014 she moved to Germany to complete her Master's degree in Quantitative Finance in University of Kiel. In 2017 she moved to Berlin to work in the fintech sector. Currently, she is employed as Risk Manager in a fintech company. She has been a member of Kamurdj since 2019.
TAGUHI USTABASHYAN BOARD
Taguhi graduated from the State Linguistic University after V. Brusov in Yerevan in 2012. 2009 Taguhi studied in China, where she was actively taking part in cultural activities and charitable work. In 2012 she moved to Munich, where she went to nursing school (Exam 2016). 2016-2021 she worked at the Bavarian Red Cross Hospital on the ward of plastic surgery, visceral surgery, hemato-oncology. Since 2021 she is working at the Arabella Clinic, specialized in plastic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedy, ENT, OMS. From 2015-2016 Taguhi was a member of SOAR (Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief) -Germany e.V., teaching English and Russian to orphans on-line. Since 2018 Taguhi is a member of Kamurdsch-Brücke e.V. In October, 2019 Taguhi was elected as the Secretary of the board.
MIKAEL ISPIRJAN MEMBER
Mikael is a 5th year medical student at the University of Greifswald. 2006-2020 he was a member of the chess club "SAV-Torgelow", where he trained talented youngsters as a chess coach from 2013. Since 2016, Mikael undertook interpreting activities for Armenian-speaking refugees and patients for hospitals in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald. Since 2017, Mikael has been researching intratumoral heterogeneity of immune cells in glioblastoma multiforme as part of his dissertation. Later he plans to specialize in Intensive care medicine. In January, 2021 Mikael joined the Kamurdsch-Brücke e.V. team and supports in medical aid projects.
SATO TELEMI MEMBER
After successfully finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Iran and Master’s degree at TU Ilmenau in Germany, Sato moved to Munich in 2012. She has started her professional career first as telecommunication researcher and later embedded software developer and project manager in. Currently she works at Bosch Engineering on automotive projects. Sato was engaged in the Armenian graduate association in Tehran. In Munich she collaborated as a volunteer in Oxfam center for a year. In December 2020 Sato joined Kamurdsch-Brücke team and supports different projects.
RAFFI ENFICIAUD BOARD
Raffi was born in France to parents of Armenian origin coming from Turkey and Lebanon, and spent a good part of his childhood in his parents’ Armenian restaurants. He graduated from the Telecom-Sud Paris Engineering school in 2000 and defended his Ph.D. in Mathematical Morphology/Image Processing in 2007 at Paris School of Mines. He worked in various companies as well as public organizations in Paris, Tübingen and Berlin. He had roles as software developer, research engineer or project/team manager. He currently works in the field of Machine Learning in a Berlin startup and maintains various open source projects on the side. He is interested in high-tech, research and science, and its application in everyday life. He enjoys cooking Armenian dishes. Raffi was involved for a long time in the activities of the French-Armenian diaspora through AGBU (Marseille/Paris). In November 2020, he joined the Kamurdsch-Brücke e.V. team in Germany to support medical aid projects for Armenia. He is also an active member of Santé Arménie (France) and AESA (US).
ANNA KARAPETYAN MEMBER
Anna Karapetyan graduated from the Yerevan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences. For a few years she has been working at Society Without Violence, a human rights NGO in Armenia, as Project Coordinator, then Head of Projects before taking up the role of the Board Member at the organisation. In her capacity she has overseen projects concerning the protection of women's rights as well as the elimination of gender-based violence and inequality. On behalf of the NGO, Anna participated in various international conferences and seminars. In 2019 Anna moved to Germany to continue her studies and joined the Kamurdsch-Brücke e.V. team. In October, 2019 she was elected into the Board.
Anna Kocharyan Board
Anna was born and raised in Yerevan and moved to Germany after graduating from highschool. She graduated from the faculty of medicine at the University of Heidelberg. She currently works as a resident physician-scientist at the department of experimental neurology, University clinic Mannheim. In her spare time, she is a young poet.
Mariam Kagramanjan Board
Mariam was born in Stepanakert, Republic of Artsakh, where she spent the first 5 years of her life before her family came to Germany in the late 1990s. She graduated secondary school in 2011 in Thuringia. After spending a gap year in Great Britain and working as a teaching and boarding assistant in a school in England, in 2012 she started studying Spanish and English at Humboldt University in Berlin to become a foreign language teacher. As part of her studies she spent 2 semesters abroad in Havana, Cuba in 2014/15.
After the 2020 war on Artsakh she was looking for ways to support her homeland and, thus, started participating in political activism and humanitarian aid initiatives, later joined Kamurdsch-Brücke e.V. to contribute to systemic medical and humanitarian aid to Armenia.
